      Alexis is an artist, actress, and traditionally published children’s book illustrator passionate about exploring color and possibility.


      Alexis is currently polishing her next children’s book, “Cornelia the Cockroach” alongside mother Alvina Leder. Various accolades include winning and/or placing in the Harford County Quick Draw (2017, 2018), Ellicott City’s Paint Down Main (2017), and Easton Plein Air 18 and Under (2016). 

        As an active member of the musical theatre community, Alexis’ talents have been recognized by musicals including Hamilton and Heathers. Her powerful mezzo-soprano voice often lends itself to the roles of fierce women. Alexis has spent three consecutive years working with Graham Windham, Eliza Hamilton’s private orphanage, alongside actress Lexi Lawson to promote Eliza’s legacy through art. 


     Alexis has a passion for costuming and enjoys spending her free time sewing garments meant for the stage. She currently lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her family and furry friend. Alexis attends American University where she studies studio art and theatre.
